To use an Esimora eSIM, your device needs to meet a few key requirements and support eSIM technology. Below, you’ll find information on compatibility and a list of devices known to support eSIMs as of April 2025.

Our list below is a helpful guide to determine if your device might be eSIM-compatible. Please be aware that device compatibility can sometimes depend on the specific region or carrier it was purchased from.
While we regularly update this list, it may not cover every single eSIM-enabled device model available globally. If your device isn’t listed, we strongly recommend contacting your device manufacturer directly to confirm its eSIM capabilities.
eSIM Compatible Devices (As of April 2025):
The following list details devices reported to support eSIM functionality. Please note regional variations and carrier restrictions may apply.
*Important Notes for Apple Devices:
• iPhone models originating from Mainland China do not have eSIM capability.
• iPhone models from Hong Kong and Macao typically do not have eSIM capability, with the exception of the iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 12 Mini, iPhone SE (2020), and iPhone XS.
• For iPhones and iPads acquired in TURKEY: If activated after June 23, 2020, your eSIM should activate post-installation. If not, contact your carrier. For devices set up before this date, specific steps may be required to activate eSIM, potentially involving data erasure (ensure you back up your device).
• Only iPad devices equipped with Wi-Fi + Cellular features are supported for eSIM.
*Important Notes for Samsung Devices:
• Galaxy devices originally sold in China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan do not support eSIM functionality.
• With the exception of the Galaxy S23 FE and S24 FE, all Galaxy FE ("Fan Edition") models do not have eSIM capability.
• USA models of the Galaxy S20, S21, and Note 20 Ultra do not have eSIM capability.
• Most Samsung Galaxy devices purchased in South Korea do not support eSIMs, except for specific variants of the Galaxy S24, S23, Z Fold 5, Z Fold 4, Z Flip 5, Z Flip 4, and A54 5G.
*Important Notes for Google Pixel Devices:
• Certain Pixel 3 models from Australia, Taiwan, and Japan, and those purchased with service from US or Canadian carriers other than Sprint and Google Fi, do not have eSIM capability.
• Pixel 3a models acquired in South East Asia or with Verizon service may not have eSIM capability.
*Important Notes for HUAWEI Devices:
• The Huawei P40 Pro+ does not have eSIM capability.
• Any Huawei devices purchased in China are not eSIM capable.

*Important Notes for Windows Laptops:
• For Windows 10: Your PC must be running version 1703 or later and be LTE-ready to use an eSIM.
• For Surface devices: Any AT&T-locked devices will not support eSIMs. If your device was purchased through another carrier, they might have disabled eSIM capability (please contact the carrier to confirm).
